Downtown Aquarius is located in Houston, Texas, a public aquarium and an eatery created out of two Houston landmarks. The aquarium covers a 6-acre location on Bagby Street in downtown Houston. Downtown Aquarium housed over 200 species of aquatic creatures in the 500,000 US gallon the aquarium. The complex includes two restaurants, a banquet space, and a bar. It also offers programs such as Zoologist for an entire Day, Marine Biologist for the Day and overnight stays, and much more. The department of education also collaborates with school groups and offers outreach programs.

Downtown Aquarium is the product of the redevelopment of the two historic downtown Houston landmarks. The first is Fire Station No. 1 and the Central Waterworks Building. The magnificent, six-acre dining and entertainment complex is an aquatic paradise with a capacity of 500,000 gallons and over 300 aquatic species worldwide. The restaurant is fully serviced, as well as a chic bar and a ballroom that is fully equipped with exhibits of the geographic and aquatic along with shopping; there are many other amusements.

The underwater adventure will make you hungry, so you could take a bite while seated in the ceiling-to-ceiling 150,000-gallon aquarium. You will enjoy a fantastic dining experience, such as reticulated Rays moray eels, huge groupers, and shovel-nosed guitarfish while they swim by your tables. Aquarium provides a wide range of dishes, including chicken salads, seafood pasta dishes, and exquisite desserts.
