The community was once historic and is located in the eastern part of Houston, Texas, near the Houston Ship Channel is Denver Harbor. The neighborhood was bordered by Wallisville Road and the Union Pacific Railroad Association. The area was established in the 1890s and was officially platted in 1911. The original subdivisions were Denver Harbor, Liberty Heights, and Harbordale. The names “Denver” and “Harbor” were merged, and the result was “Denver Harbor,” which describes the whole neighborhood.
